Transportation to Airport from Munich City Center

Munich Airport

Train

There is a rail system in place that provides transportation from the city center directly to Munich Airport. Trains depart every 10 minutes and provide transportation to terminals 1 and 2. The S1 train line connects Neufahrn, Moosach, Laim, Munich Hauptbahnhof, Marienplatz and Ostbahnhof with the airport and the S8 train line connects Ostbahnhof, Isartor, Marienplatz, Karlsplatz/Stachus, Hauptbahnhof, Laim and Pasing and Herrsching with the airport. Taxi

Taxis offer a more refreshing journey thanks to air-conditioning advantage at the scorching heat of Kuwait. You can easily find the taxis, which serve all day long, in front of the terminal building of the airport. However, you should keep in mind that this option is more costly.

Bus

Four bus lines 13, 21, 99 and 501 are at your service on your way to the city center. Bus number 21 runs between 4:30 am and 11:45 pm. You can take the bus 13 to reach Chipset, bus 99 to go to Subhan and bus 501 to go Raqai part of the city. It takes about half an hour to reach the city center by all these bus lines.

Rent a car

You can also prefer to get to the city center by renting an affordable car of different brands and models at Kuwait Airport, where there are many international car rental companies such as Hertz, Avis, National, and Dollar.
