Liberia, officially known as the Republic of Liberia, is one of the oldest republics on West Africa's coast. The period between November and April is known for the highest rainfall, while in the inland areas, rainy seasons are shorter, and nights are colder.
Liberia has a tropical climate, leading to hot and humid summers, with temperatures often reaching 40 degrees Celsius in February and March. The coolest temperatures, averaging around 15 degrees Celsius, are typically experienced in August.
Liberia offers a rich and diverse cuisine, featuring flavors like shawarma, hummus, and falafel. The country, known for its fish and seafood comparable to island nations, has the famous Snapper, resembling sea bass, as a preferred choice.
