Airport Information

Having been operating for more than 50 years, Trabzon Airport has been renewed and started to serve both domestic and international flights. There is neither any municipality bus service to reach the airport from the city center nor any minibus service for transportation to and from the airport.

There is a minibus from the airport to Göreme and another one to Ürgüp. The minibus headed to Göreme also passes through Nevşehir city center.

Journey with both minibus lines takes about 30 minutes and you can get to the city center in about 20 minutes. The Demirhan Tourism’s minibus line to Göreme respectively passes through “Kapadokya Havalimanı”, “Gülşehir Meydanı”, “Forum Kapadokya”, “Meteris Meydanı”, “Gülbahçe Parkı”, “Versa Hastanesi”, “Uçhisar Hanem Art Center” and “Göreme Belediyesi Önü”. The services to Ürgüp and Avanos depart from Kapadokya Airport and then respectively passes through “Avanos Taşköprü”, “Avanos Meydanı”, “Altınyazı Otel”, “Hadosan Otel”, “Dinler Otel”, “Ürgüp Belediyesi” and “Ürgüp Hamam”.

The ATS Transfer is another alternative that serves as airport shuttle service. It is run just like an airport shuttle service, but you need to make a reservation in advance. They pick you up with minivan-type vehicles at the airport and then transfer you to your destination from the airport.
