Since it is a 30-year-old city, there is not many historical places to visit in Vilamoura but the archaeological museum in the region that emerged during the construction of the marina can be visited. Mosaics and baths remaining from the Roman ruins are among the places that can be seen in the city. You can reach Vilamoura by taxi or bus from Faro which is the main airport of Algarve region.
