Bucerías, which means "place of divers", is a small beach resort located in Nayarit, Mexico. Bucerias has a population of approximately 9 thousand residents and is on the Bay of Banderas, an excellent location between La Cruz de Huanacaxtle and Nuevo Vallarta. Bucerias welcomes thousands of local and foreign tourists every year with its cobblestone streets, main square, flamboyant church and historical sites, which was once a fishing village in the 1930s. One of Mexico's largest Pacific Coast passes, it is possible to arrive at Puerta Vallarta Airport by transferring from South American or European cities.
