About Subang jaya

Subang Jaya is 20 km west of the capital of Kuala Lumpur, and one of the biggest cities in Malaysia. Taxis are not recommended for travellers, as they can be very expensive. You can use buses or metro buses instead, which are the main public transport options in Subang Jaya.

There’s a miniature center in Subang Jaya called Minnatura where there are 3-D miniature models with incredible detail. It hosts different events and shows and is a great place to have some fun. There are also many indoor venues to play football, squash, tennis, and badminton. Golfing is also popular. There’s a park in and around the Persiaran Lagoo called Subang Ria Park. It’s one of the most loved places in the city and includes the country's largest paintball park, a crocodile farm, and a top quality fish restaurant. The Sunway Lagoon Theme Park is also located along the Persiaran Lagoon, and it’s possible to take part in a wide range of water sports and some other water activities here. Subang Jaya has a lot to offer in terms of shopping; new shopping malls keep popping up. You can find one on almost every corner, and you can also find almost anything you want inside one of them. Even though Far Eastern cuisine is dominant in Subang Jaya, you can also find various restaurants that serve food from all over the world.

Subang Jaya has a tropical climate and is quite humid even in the dry season. The heaviest rainfall occurs in March, April, October and November. There is almost no variation in the temperature throughout the year, which stays at a constant of 26-27 degrees.
