Sochi International Airport is an international airport located in Adler District, the holiday town of Sochi city of Russia. Located in Krasnodar Krai on the Black Sea coast of Russia, the airport is one of the 10 largest Russian airports with an annual turnover of 2.5 million passengers. The airport was awarded as the best regional airport at the 3rd annual forum "Development of Russia and CIS airports” in 2013. Sochi International Airport was the main transportation center during the 22nd Winter Olympic Games. Between 1 - 28 February 2014, it welcomed more than 350 thousand passengers.
