Sinoe, one of the 15 districts in Liberia, has 17 counties. The town centered on the city is known as Greenville. The city, which has a population of about 104,000 people according to 2008 data, is one of the most crowded cities in Liberia. Liberia's third largest city, Sinoe, is also the second most populous city in Liberia after Gbarpolu County.
