About Navoi
Navoiy (also spelled as Navoi), which is the center of Navoiy province of Uzbekistan, is a city based on natural gas economy and an important chemical industry center that produces chemical fiber and fertilizer. The city, which was rebuilt in 1958 with the Uzbek poet Alisher Navoi, takes its name from this poet.
According to the 2007 data, the city, which has a population of approximately 125 thousand people, has precious metals and natural gas stocks. There are large stocks of raw materials in the city where construction materials also stand out.
Therefore, important companies of the world are located in the city. The city, which is located at a distance of 800 meters from the highway E-40, is about 2 km away from Navoiy Airport that connects it to Europe, North Africa, Middle East and Gulf.
