Fiji's third largest city, Nadi, is located on the west side of Viti Levu Island. According to 2007 data, there is a population of about 42 thousand people living in the city. Most of the people are Indian and Fijian, but there are also people from different races. Along with the production of sugar cane, the tourism industry is the main source of local city economy.

There are also many hotels and motels in the city. There is the Nadi River and Viseisei Village, while the Sri Siva Subramaniya Temple is on the east of the center of the city, where majority of the people are Hinduist and Muslim. Nadi International Airport is located 9 kilometers away from the city and is the biggest airport in Fiji. The average temperature in the city is about 24 degrees Celsius every month.
