About Moron
Moron is a city in the Khövsgöl Aymag region in the north of Mongolia. The city was the capital city of Khóvsgöl Aimag region until 1993. According to the estimates of 2010, there is a population of about 35 thousand people living in the city. As in other provinces of Mongolia, the city has a hospital, museum, theater, post office, various schools and kindergartens.
In addition, the asphalt road named Ulaanbaatar connects to other parts of the region. The main sights in the city are Lagoon La Redonda and Terminal de Ferrocarriles de Morón. Moron has also many hotels and restaurants.
There are regular flights from Moron Airport, which has two airfields, one with gravel and the other with stone. In this city where short and mild summers are seen, the average daily temperature in summer reaches maximum 16 degrees Celsius.
