Great Harbour is the largest settlement of the Bahama's Berry Islands, located nearly 40 km to the northwest of Nassau. In addition to being home to scenes of extraordinary beauty, it is also home to 11 kilometres of beaches. The Sugar Beach Hotel, built in the 1970s, is widely considered to be one of the best on the island.

The island's Bullock Port is a great place to rent a boat to explore the crystal blue waters of the Caribbean sea. The island's Shark River is home to many species of smaller sharks, which you can sometimes see when kayaking or paddling up the river.
