About Deva
The city called Deva, which is also the center of the Romanian province of Hunedoara, has approximately 70-thousand-population according to data in 2002. This city is located in the historical Transylvanian region, and also on the left bank of the Mures River. The city is divided into four different village administrations which are Arki, Barcea Mica, Cristur and Santualhm. Deva is the 37th largest city of Romania, and the majority of the population in the city include Romanians, while the rest consists of Hungarians and Romans.
The economy of the city is mostly based on the automotive, trade, construction and energy industries. In terms of education, besides Special Ecology and Tourism University, there are Timişoara and Cluj-Napoca academic centers. In addition, it is home to Coleguil National Sporty Cetatea, which is the national women's gymnastics training center. There are various types of flowers that need to be well-preserved in the city. Furthermore, you can see touristic places with vipera ammodytes. The Citadel Castle, built during the 13th century and located on the top of the hill, is among the places that you can visit.

The temperature in the city climate does not get very high throughout the year. July is the warmest month in the city, and the temperature reaches approximately 20 degrees, while in January, which is the coldest month, the temperature can drop to -5 degrees.
