The construction of Cluj Napoca International Airport started in 1932 and in 1933, after a year of work started operating flights. You can reach the city center in half an hour by the bus route 5 departing from the airport. The buses operate every 10 minutes from 05:10 am to 10:38 pm on weekdays; on Saturdays from 05:48 am to 08:57 pm and on Sundays from 06:22 am to 08:57 pm every 20 minutes.

Premier Hotel and Granata Hotel have shuttle buses that carry passengers from the airport to the city center. You should not forget to make a reservation in advance in order to benefit from this service.

Airport Information

The airport bearing the name of the Romanian revolutionist Avram Lancu is colloquially referred to as Cluj Airport. Cluj Airport, which is the second busiest airport in Romania, is busier during the summer season.
