About Bojnurd
Bojnurd, which is the center of North Khorasan province in northern Iran, is one of the cities with the most Turkish population in the country. In the city, which reflects the multicultural structure of the country, Turkish, Tatar and Kurdish are spoken mostly. Turkmen customs are still alive in the city, where the ancestors of the Turks had lived. The city on the border of Turkmenistan is famous for its Turkmen horses and horse breeding. Having an advanced training and production facility in this area, the city attracts thousands of tourists every year thanks to horses and horse breeding.
Caves, spring waters, and earth forms are also important places in terms of tourist attraction. The most important of these are the Five Brothers (Besh Qardash) spring water, Baba Aman spring water and Natural Life Park, Bazkhaneh Valley and Ayyub Kaynak Water ... Mofakham Mansion, Jajrmiha Mosque and Sultan Seyid Abbas Tomb are some of the important historical structures of the city. There is also an airport almost in the center of the city. Direct flights take place from Tehran to the airport, which is two kilometers away from the city center where the administrative buildings and Imam Khomeini Street, the city's most important street, are located. There are buses operating between the airport and the city center.
