Located 80 km away to Florianópolis, Balneário Camboriú is the capital of Santa Catarina and one of the most touristic settlements of Brasil, having more than 1.5 million tourists during the period between December and March. There are both various places to go and activities to do in Balneário Camboriú. Most of the tourists visiting here take trekking tours to Laranjeiras and spend time in Parque Unipraias, a big sport complex. Between December and February, it is up to 30°C whereas from March to July, it is around 19°C. The ideal period to visit Balneário Camboriú is December, January, February, and March.
