Located 80 km away to Florianópolis, Balneário Camboriú is the capital of Santa Catarina and one of the most touristic settlements of Brasil, having more than 1.5 million tourists during the period between December and March. The most popular restaurants are Calderada de Frutos do Mar, offering Seafood, calamari, and fishes with various spices, and Marisco lambe-lambe, which is famous for its shellfish specialties.
