You can easily find a taxi in Salt Lake City. If you wish your hotel can also arrange a taxi on your behalf. It takes taxis 15 minutes on average to reach the airport from the city center.

Shuttle Service

There are many shuttle service providers that use a variety of vehicles to transport passenger to and from the airport. The cost of a shuttle service is 25 to 30 dollars for up to two travellers, and an extra 5 dollars is requested for each additional passenger.

Car Rental

You can easily reach the airport within 12 to 15 minutes by choosing one of the many car rental companies located in the city centre. You should follow the Interstate 80 East (I-80 E) or the West 400 South (W 400 S) to reach the airport.

Bus

It is possible to get to the airport in 15 minutes by taking bus route 453 from the city centre. The bus fare is 2.5 dollars. This bus route is only operational during weekdays.  

Tram

You can reach the airport with the Green Line in just half an hour. The ticket costs 2.5 dollars. This line runs every 15 minutes on weekdays between 05:47 and 23:27, every 20 minutes between 06:36 and 23:16 on Saturdays, and every 20 minutes between 06:20 and 22:20 on Sundays.

Located approximately 4 miles from the city centre, Salt Lake City International Airport is a large and busy airport with 3 terminals and 4 runways. For the passengers who want to rent a car, airport shuttles depart regularly in front of the passenger terminal building to the car rental center (ConRAC) where there are offices of 10 different car rental companies. Once you rent a car, you can reach the city center in less than 10 minutes by driving through E Holt Boulevard.

Bus

After getting on bus number 61 departing from the bus stops in front of the terminal building, you should transfer to bus 80 on Holt. You can reach the city center in half an hour in total.

Many hotels and motels in the city offer airport shuttle services. If your hotel provides a shuttle service and if you would like to take advantage of this service, you are recommended to make a reservation at least 72 hours in advance.

Airport shuttle services depart from 3 different points of the airport. You can take the shuttle services departing every 5 to 20 minutes from the 5th floor of the airport car park, from the car rental center or in front of the passenger terminal depending on the crowdedness. All shuttles are wheelchair accessible vehicles.
