From Penn Station, one of the city’s major stations located in central Manhattan, you can get to Newark Liberty Airport Station in about 30 minutes by taking the NJ Transit train or the Amtrak train. Newark Liberty Airport was the first airport to open in New York. It is ranked second in terms of passenger density, after JFK.
