The roads throughout Bahrain are asphalt and well maintained. At the same time, oil is so cheap that it offers a great advantage in terms of car rental companies. Because tourists who visit the country prefer not to waste their time on underdeveloped public transport, and prefer to widen their choices, they rent a car.
