Today Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport serves general aviation and turboprop flights. The airport is used for charter flights and domestic and international turboprop flights. Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport is located about 30 km from the Kuala Lumpur city center.

Taxi

The most common transportation alternative to get to the airport from the city center is by taxi. Taxis might not be the most affordable option but they are the fastest. The total trip from the city center takes about 40 minutes.

Transportation to Altenrhein City Center from Airport

Saint Gallen Altenrhein Airport

The distance between the city center and Saint Gallen Altenrhein Airport, which is situated in the town of Thal located in Saint Gallen on the Austrian border of Switzerland, is about 21 kilometers. Car rental companies also offer limousine rental services in addition to private vehicles for the passengers coming to the airport. You can walk about 20 minutes to use the trains which are the only public transportation vehicles going to the center from the airport or you can reach Staad Train Station in 5 minutes by taxi. The train route S2 carries passengers to the center from 05:00 am to 00:30 am. The trains depart every hour. It takes about 25 minutes to reach Saint Gallen station by train.
