Bus

Buses have a highly comprehensive transportation network throughout the city; however, they don’t offer a direct transportation option to the airport. There are sixteen bus routes operating in the city. You can get to the railway station by using bus routes 3A and 23.

Trolleybus

By getting on a public transportation vehicle or taxi from your location in the city, you can arrive at A. Donish, S. Ayni, A. Rudaki, Somoni and N. Mahsumov stations. From here, you can get on trolleybus routes 2 or 4 and directly arrive at the airport. Trolleybuses have a key importance in urban transportation. Although they have fewer routes than buses, trolleybuses are more affordable than buses.

There are eight trolleybus routes, including 1, 24, 5, 8, 10, 12 and 14, which operate throughout Dushanbe.

Trolleybus route 1 takes passengers to S. Ayni Culture Park and Railway Station, route 9 and 10 to Obshoron region, route 11 to S. Ayni Culture Park and Somoni regions and route 12 to shopping center and Gulbutta regions.

Train

By using lines 3 and 4, you can get to the railway station which is close to the airport.

Minibus (Marshrutka)

Known as Marshrutka in the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States, minibuses are a very useful public transportation alternatives in Dushanbe. Although the minibuses have a wide transportation network, they are more crowded compared to other public transportation such as buses, trolleys and buses; also, minibuses demand higher amounts than trolleybuses.

To arrive at the airport by using minibuses, you need to get to A. Donish, Nazarshoev, Rudaki, S. Ayni, S. Sherozi and N. Carabo regions by using a public transportation vehicle or by taking a taxi. It is possible to directly get to the airport by using the minibus route 33 passing through these regions.

Routes 1, 3, 17 and 29 are among the minibus routes providing transportation opportunity in the city. By using route 3 you can travel to the railway station.

Shared Taxi

There are shared taxis operating between certain regions in the city. Travelling with these vehicles are comfortable and budget-friendly. If you are near Karabolo or 82nd district of the city, you can get to the airport by getting on shared taxi route 8 departing from Rudaki, Somoni and US Embassy regions.

Airport Information

Having the capacity of hosting 200 passengers per hour, Dushanbe International Airport continue enhancing its facilities. Located in the southeast of the city, the airport is not very close to the city center.

Bus and Trolleybus

Apart from these buses which run every 15 minutes, it is possible to go to the city center comfortably by using the bus route 168, which operates every 30 minutes. There are two main bus stations in Yekaterinburg and these stations are called as the north and south. At these bus stations there are ATM, a few markets and stores, eating and drinking places. In addition, there is also a smaller bus station compared to the north and south stations. This station is located just near the airport.

The north bus station (+7 343 379 09 09) located on Vokzalnaya street is just near the Yekaterinburg train station and is about 2.5 kilometers of the city center. The south bus station (+7 343 257 12 60) is located on Marta street.

Train

Yekaterinburg train station is about 2.5 km north of the city center. It is very easy to reach Yekaterinburg by train. At the same time, from this station there are regular daily trains to other important and major cities of Russia. It is very comfortable to reach the important cities like St. Petersburg and Moscow with the trains departing from Yekaterinburg train station by paying 30-150 euros. There are two-way express trains that provide continuous transportation service between Koltsovo Airport and Yekaterinburg train station. The stops are; Koltsovo Airport, Koltsovo, Kompresorniy, Lechebniy, Chapaevskaya, Putevka, Shartosh, Pervemayskaya and Ekaterinburg-Passazhirskiy. By taking one of the express train routes 6040 and 6038, it is very budget-friendly and practical to travel from the airport to Yekaterinburg city center. Metro

The metro line called Line 1, which offers service between the central and industrial districts of Yekaterinburg, is actually the only metro line the city has. Tramway

There are totally 30 different tramway routes serving in the city. Travelling to almost every part of the city by tramway is an easy and economical option. Tramway routes 21, 27 and 32 go to the city center from Hotel Sverdlovsk (on the square just across the train station), the most famous hotel in the city. Tramway route 3 provides transportation between the train station and Lenin Avenue, one of Yekaterinburg's busiest streets.

Taxi

Taxi is one of the most convenient and budget-friendly means of transportation in the city which has a heavy traffic. The average taxi fares are 25 rubles per kilometer and the running fare is 160 rubles. Of course, make sure the taxi driver turns on the taximeter and try to bargain about the price. It is possible to get to the city center comfortably and quickly in 25-30 minutes by taking one of the taxis waiting outside the arrivals terminal of Koltsovo Airport. Just like taxis, yellow-colored minivan vehicles are waiting for passengers at the exit of the airport. They operate between 07:00 am and 10:00 pm. These vehicles go directly to the city center after picking up the passengers. They have the capacity of 7-14 passengers and the fare is only 18 rubles. You can comfortably arrive at the city center in about 20-30 minutes with the car you have chosen according to your needs and passenger number. Since the main offices of these companies are located in Yekaterinburg city center, it is possible to prevent possible loss of time by leaving your car at the airport before leaving the city. If you make your reservation in advance, it will be of great advantage for you to receive your car immediately after your arrival to Koltsovo Airport. If we assume that there is no traffic, it takes about 30-40 minutes to travel across the city. It is quite easy to get to the city center from Koltsovo Airport, which is directly linked to Yekaterinburg highway.
