Airport Transfer

Private Vehicle

Although it is a great merit to use private vehicles in Cairo, which is similar to Istanbul with regards to its traffic and size, there may be people who want to reach the airport by private vehicles. To do this, you have to follow the Oroba road, in the east direction, to go to the airport from Zamalek island and Tahrir in the city center.

Oroba route will take you to Airport Road, which will provide you with access to the airport, after 17 kilometers.

Bus

SNT buses leave every 30 minutes from Carthage Airport and you can easily get to the center of the capital city by bus. In addition to the SNT buses, which are an economical transportation alternative, the more expensive and luxurious TUT buses also travel to the city center every 15 minutes. You can easily get to the city center from the airport by choosing from these buses.

Train

There is no direct train service at Carthage Airport; however, if you want to travel by train, you should firstly get to the train station that is 5 kilometers away by bus or taxi. Once you arrive at the train station, you can travel to many parts of the city by train.

Rent a car

As another option, you can get to the city center by renting a car from the offices of car rental companies in the arrival hall of Carthage Airport.
