Transportation to Canberra City Center from Airport

Canberra city center is very close to the airport and can be reached in about 10 minutes by taxi, rental car or luxury transfer. Shuttle buses offer more economical transportation but they serve only during the day. The closest bus stop is 2.3 kilometers from the airport.

At the airport there are seven different car rental companies, serving at the arrival terminal, luggage delivery area. To go to the city center, turn right at the airport exit, and whichever direction you choose at the crossroads, you can easily reach the center in about 10 minutes by following the signs to the city center.

Taxi / Metro

The taxi stands are at a short walk distance from the luggage delivery area. The taxis are picking up their passengers a covered place to protect them from hot and cold weather and rains. Shuttle
