Rail System

Passing through Monastiraki and Sintagma, located in the city center, the M3 line takes you directly to the Airport. However, from the Omonoia Square you can get on the M1 line to get to Monastiraki switching to line M2 which will get you to Sintagma from where you can get on a bus to the airport. 

The M3 line also can get you to important places like the Benaki museum, Athens Academy and Athens Concert hall.

Private Vehicle

Athens, unlike western European cities, does not have orderly streets and boulevards. It’s also quite easy to catch a train to the city center from Vilnius Airport, and also both fast and economic. There’s a short walk from the airport terminal to the train station. The train service runs late into the night, and it can take you to almost wherever you want in the city.
