Transportation to Cairo City Center from Airport

However, city buses take half an hour to one and a half hours to get to the city due to traffic conditions and excessive number of bus stops.

You can also go to the Heliopolis and Nasr areas by bus and get to the newly completed metro stations from here. Green Line, one of the three metro lines in the city, is expected to reach the airport next year.
