Banja Luka International Airport is a quiet and small airport with an average of 3 flights a day. The municipality does not provide public transportation to the airport because the air traffic density is very low. Airport Information

Banja Luka International Airport is also known as Mahovljani Airport among the locals. The airport, which opened in 1997, is new, clean, tidy and fast-paced.

It is approximately 23 kilometers from the city center. Only basic services are offered at the airport. There is no ATM but there is a foreign exchange office. Free Wi-Fi service is available for all passengers.

You can take advantage of the limited number of places to eat and stores where you can shop. There is also a duty free shop located at the airport.
