Transportation to Airport from Santo Domingo City Center
Las Americas Intl. Airport
It is not possible to directly travel to Las Americas International Airport from the city center by using a means of public transportation. However, you can get to the airport by renting a car or getting on a taxi. In addition, many hotels in the city offer airport shuttle service for their guests.

The contact and reservation desks of these companies are located in the baggage claim area on the 1st floor. You can reach the city center with your rental car via different routes. Whichever route you choose, you can reach the city center in just 10 minutes.
Bus
Buses 40 and 44 will take you to the city center in 22 minutes under normal traffic conditions. These buses pass through the West Palm Beach Train Station, which is served by Amtrak passenger rail which carries passengers to more than 500 destinations in 46 states of America. The bus ticket price is $ 2.00 for one way. Tri-Rail commuter rail service is a train that carries passengers between West Palm Beach and Miami, and has many stops from any city in South Florida. When you leave the airport baggage claim area, you can see the Tri-Rail sign immediately. From here you get free transfer to the train station.
