Bremen Airport is the international airport serving the city of Bremen, which is one of the most important industrial and port cities in Germany. The airport is accessible by tram from the city center. Tram number 6 provides transportation to the airport from the city center in 11 minutes. The tram departs from the central train station and passes the Bremen Am Brill stop, which is a 5-minute walk from the historic city center. The tram provides direct transportation to the airport terminal.

The city center consists of the historic city center (Domshof) and the area north of Weser River, which is where many historic buildings are located. It takes about 10 minutes to get to the airport from the city center by taxi. The total fare will vary depending on the traffic conditions. However, in general, the fare isn’t too high.

Car

When driving to Bremen Airport from Bremen you can follow the tram route once you cross the Wilhelm-Kaisen Bridge. You can also take the Bürgermeister-Smidt Bridge and go to the intersection of Neuenlander Street. Then make a left and continue to the airport entrance. The airport has a parking capacity for 4,500 vehicles including bicycles, motorcycles, and cars. Transportation to Kassel City Center from Airport

If you want to use a more comfortable transportation alternative, you can get on a taxi or rent a car at the airport. If you need to travel to Calden, you can get on a taxi and reach the city in a short time since the distance is very close.
