You can take buses 201 and 503 from the Royal Palace, National Museum, and Phara Nakhon, the historic city center, to Phaya Thai Station. From this station you can get to the airport in 17 minutes.
You can also get on the express line at Makkasan Station. Other lines take about 30 minutes to get to the airport.

There are vehicles that depart from Victory Monument, which is one of the busiest transportation hubs in the city, to the airport every 20 minutes. You can get to the airport using luxury minibuses or buses where you need to connect or transfer in between. Minibuses 550 and 551 will take you directly to the airport. From the historic city center (Phara Nakhon) take the Nakhon Sawan or Lan Luang bridges and connect to the Sirat Expressway, which has a toll. From here you need to take Motorway 7, which connects directly to the airport. After reaching the airport you can park your vehicle in one of the three parking lots, which have a total car park capacity of 5 thousand vehicles.

Transportation to Trabzon City Center from Airport
Trabzon Airport
Trabzon Airport is located 6 kilometers away from the city center, near the seaside. Black Sea Technical University Campus is only a 5-minute walk away.
There are the possibilities of taking minibuses, buses, taxis, Havaş, and some shuttle services and renting a car to get to the city center from the airport. Because Trabzon Airport carries passengers from nearby cities like Rize and Giresun, it is possible to reach these places with Havaş shuttles.
Havaş
You can reach to the center or the districts of Trabzon, Rize and Giresun with Havaş shuttles, after the passenger exit is completed. While Havaş shuttles reach the city center of Trabzon, passing through the stops of Tanjant Road, Tanjant Erdogdu Junction, Yavuz Sultan Selim Boulevard, Uzunkum and Beşirli. The journey time depends on the distance to be traveled, but in total it takes about 30 minutes to complete this route.
The route of the passengers going to Rize respectively consists of Of, Iyidere, Derepazarı, Rize, Çayeli, Pazar and Ardeşen. Ticket prices are set at 15 or 20 TL according to distance. The stops on the route to Giresun are Akçaabat, Çarşıbaşı, Vakfıkebir, Beşidüzü, Eynesil, Çavuşlu, Görele, Tirebolu, Espiye, Keşap, Giresun and Bulancak. Prices are around 20 TL.
Minibus - Bus
If you leave the airport and go to the minibus stop, you will see the minibuses going to the city center every 5-10 minutes. You can also use the Çimenli and Yomra buses that pass through the airport. The stops of Çimenli buses are Airport, Değirmendere, Tanjant and Meydan respectively. The Yomra buses pass through Değirmendere, Sahil Yolu, Tanjant, Meydan, Atapark, Şenol Güneş Caddesi, and Sahil Peronu stops.
Hotel Services
Some of the hotels near the airport are within walking distance. Other than that, some hotels in the city also provide airport transfers if you come for a holiday.
Taxi
You can also consider going to the city center by taxi because the city center is very close. However, the fare might be more than you estimate. You might want to ask before you take the taxi. Because taxi fares outside Istanbul can be a bit expensive.
Car Rental
At the airport you can find offices of some companies like Enterprise, Rentgo, Sixt, and Esas. You can consider renting a car, especially if you come for a Black Sea trip.
