Transportation to Airport from Bangkok City Center

Rail

You can take buses 201 and 503 from the Royal Palace, National Museum, and Phara Nakhon, the historic city center, to Phaya Thai Station. From this station you can get to the airport in 17 minutes.

You can also get on the express line at Makkasan Station. Other lines take about 30 minutes to get to the airport.

Airport Services

There are vehicles that depart from Victory Monument, which is one of the busiest transportation hubs in the city, to the airport every 20 minutes. You can get to the airport using luxury minibuses or buses where you need to connect or transfer in between. Minibuses 550 and 551 will take you directly to the airport. The city of Bangkok experiences extremely hot temperatures and these vehicles were designed taking that fact into consideration. These vehicles are all air-conditioned, providing comfortable transportation for tourists.

From the historic city center (Phara Nakhon) take the Nakhon Sawan or Lan Luang bridges and connect to the Sirat Expressway, which has a toll. From here you need to take Motorway 7, which connects directly to the airport. After reaching the airport you can park your vehicle in one of the three parking lots, which have a total car park capacity of 5 thousand vehicles.

Transportation to Ostrava City Center from Airport

You can take a taxi to the city center of Ostrava from Leos Janacek Airport. Renting a car is the most preferred option for those who want to have a convenient transportation vehicle for the entire trip. However, you must remember that you must have an international driver's license to be able to drive in Ostrava. If you prefer to use public transportation, you can go to the train or bus station.

Car Rental

Avis, Budget, Europcar and Hertz companies are serving at the airport. With the car you rent, you can go to the city center via motorway 58. The journey takes about twenty minutes under normal traffic conditions.

Taxi

Taxi passengers are waiting in front of the Incoming Passenger Terminal. It takes about twenty minutes to get to the city center by taxi from the airport.

Train

The train station is located next to the Outbound Passenger Terminal. You have to board the train S4 to get to the city center. You can purchase your ticket at the information desk at the arrival terminal or on the train. You can pay by cash or credit card.

Bus

You can reach bus lines 910 333 and 820 150 from the bus stop in front of the Incoming Passenger Terminal. The bus 880 670 leaves from the bus stop just in front of the train station. These three bus lines also go to the city center. You can get your ticket on the bus from the driver.
