Jakarta is the largest city and capital of Indonesia as well as the most populated city in Southeast Asia. Jakarta is Indonesia’s economic, cultural, and political center. The Soekarno-Hatta International Airport is the main airport serving the city and its surroundings. The airport is located 20 km from downtown Jakarta. You can get to Jakarta city center from the airport in about 1 hour by using the shuttle buses belonging to Agra Mas company waiting at the exits of Terminal 1, Terminal 2F and Terminal 3. Don’t forget to change money at the airport since you have to pay the fare as Indonesian Rupiah. Shuttle buses offer service to different regions such as Bogor, Depok, Bandung and Cileungsi as well as Jakarta.
