You can reach the Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport from the city in a very short time with a taxi. You can reduce the cost of travelling from downtown Anchorage to the airport and vice versa by using the bus. If you opted for a car rental, you can drop-off your hired vehicle at the airport. To reach the airport with your hired vehicle in approximately 20 minutes, you can either take the L Street or the O’Malley. Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport is located 5 miles from the city centre. Even though there aren’t any hotels attached to the terminal buildings, they are situated within proximity to the airport.
