About Salam Air
Established in 2016, Salam Air is a low-cost Omani airline with its headquarters based in Muscat, Oman. The airline has operated primarily from Muscat International Airport (MCT) throughout its history, although they were granted permission to operate in Doha International Airport (DIA) in 2018, which never came to fruition.
Salam Air operates a fleet of modern Airbus A320neo and Airbus A321neo aircraft, prioritizing fuel efficiency. These aircraft contribute to their growing regional network, which primarily covers destinations in the Middle East and Asia, with limited routes extending to Europe.
Like other low-cost carriers (LCCs), Salam Air's primary focus is on providing affordable flights, adhering to the standard no-frills approach. The airline's core strength lies in offering low fares, making it a popular choice for budget-conscious travelers.
Salam Air provides connections to more than 38 destinations within the Middle East and neighboring regions. The airline's emphasis on a modern fleet ensures a balance between comfort and efficiency for passengers.
