Transportation to Airport from Adelaide City Center

Adelaide Airport

The fares of these buses are bit high. In you buy a single-use ticket you will be able to transfer at no extra charge within two hours of your departure.

If you plan to use public transport frequently during your visit, it is advisable to buy visitor cards that offer unlimited travel for three days.

Shuttle

As an alternative to public transport you can also use the private shuttles offered by the Skylink Adealaide Company. The amount you pay to these shuttles may vary depending on the distance from your location to the airport. If you are planning to take the shuttle from the city center, your journey will be more affordable than municipal buses. Skylink services also provide airport shuttle services from Keswick Intercity Railway Station.

You can also access the city by airport shuttle services known as Airport City Shuttle. These vehicles are available on weekdays and Saturdays between 06:00 and 18:00, and on Sundays between 06:00 and 17:00.

Taxi

If you want to have a more comfortable journey to the airport, you can also take a taxi. Taxi fares do not make a big difference compared to the bus. You will not have difficulty finding a taxi in the city.

City Buses

You can go to Ramses metro station by city bus number 111 which departs from Terminal 1 of Cairo International Airport and you can reach the city center and major centers from here by metro. However, city buses take half an hour to one and a half hours to get to the city due to traffic conditions and excessive number of bus stops.

You can also go to the Heliopolis and Nasr areas by bus and get to the newly completed metro stations from here. Green Line, one of the three metro lines in the city, is expected to reach the airport next year.

Private Service

In Cairo International Airport you also have the chance of a luxury transfer. You can choose from London-style taxis, limousines, and luxury buses for transportation. You do not have a bargaining option with these services, which are more expensive. The airport also has a parking space with the capacity of 3,612 private vehicles.
