How to Get There
Mumbai is accessible through Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, located around 30 kilometers from the city center. The airport serves as a major hub for domestic and international flights, making it convenient for travelers worldwide. From the airport, you can reach the city center via taxis, which are available 24/7, or by using the suburban train network, which connects the airport to various parts of the city.

Transportation
Mumbai has an efficient transportation system that makes moving around the city easier. Known as the lifeline of the city, the Mumbai Suburban Railway links the city's central districts with several suburbs, providing an affordable and efficient means of transportation. In Mumbai, black and yellow cabs are a popular sight. Before starting your ride, make sure the meter is running or settle on a fare with the driver. Auto rickshaws are a common and convenient way to get around for short distances, however, it's normal to haggle over the fee. Throughout the city, cheap transportation choices are offered by the Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport (BEST) buses. Mumbai Metro, which provides a quick way of getting around the city, is also growing its network. Mumbai also provides a network of ferries as an additional way of transportation for people who want to visit nearby islands like Elephanta Island and Alibaug.
