Transportation to Airport from Hannover City Center

Hannover Airport

Hannover Airport is the primary international airport serving Hannover, which is the capital of Lower Saxony. The airport is located in Langenhagen, 11 km from the city center. Hannover Airport is accessible by a variety of transportation alternatives, the most preferred being by train. The airport is also accessible by bus, taxi, and car.

Train

Getting to the airport from the city center by train is extremely convenient and easy. The S5 S-Bahn Hannover Airport line operates every day from 3:35 am to 1:05 am. The train runs every 30 minutes, providing comfortable transportation straight to the airport. The airport station is located in Terminal C and the total trip from the city center to the airport takes about 20 minutes.

Bus

There is a bus line that provides transportation from the Langenhagen Zentrum station to the airport. There are several buses that run within the hour. Bus line 407 provides direct transportation to the airport bus stop, which is located in close proximity to Terminal C.

Car

Hannover Airport is easily accessible by road. The A7 Hamburg-Kassel and A2 Berlin-Dortmund motorways provide transportation to the airport, via the A352 airport link or Langenhagen (A2) exit. The road to the airport features many signs that help guide you in the correct direction. The airport also features parking spaces with different price points and the capacity to accommodate over 14,000 vehicles.

Hannover Airport is Germany’s 9th largest airport, located 11 km from downtown Hannover. The airport was designed in 1952, architecturally inspired by the Sheremetyevo International Airport in Moscow. Hannover Airport also contains stores where passengers can go shopping, including Duty Free shops that feature a range of products, Hannover Airport Erlebnis-Shop, Hub Convenience, Provence Liebhaber Airport Shop, and Virgin Media Store. Venues where passengers can get a bite to eat or enjoy something to drink include Gate 66 Bistro and Event Area, Café Sichtbar, Marche Bistro, Marche Natural Bakery, Mc Donald’s, Movenpick Café, Sportsbar, and Zigolini. 

Transportation to Antalya City Center from Airport

Antalya Airport

You can easily reach Antalya city center by the municipality buses, HAVAŞ shuttles, taxis or your own car from Antalya Airport, which is 13 kilometers away from the city center. You can also rent a car from the car rental companies, which have offices in the city center and at the airport.

Car

If you are going to get to the city center by your own car, you can take D400 road to reach the city center from Antalya Airport. Your journey to the city center by car takes about 20 minutes. If you want to leave your car at the airport, please remember that the airport has a car park with more than 2000 car capacity. Parking at the airport is charged on an hourly and daily basis.

Taxi

You can find a taxi at every hour of the day at the taxi stands in front of the terminal. If you want to travel by taxi from the airport, taxi fares are as the follows: 140 Euros to Fethiye, 100 Euros to Finike, 90 Euros to Alanya, 50 Euros to Belek, 180 Euros to Dalaman, 80 Euros to Incekum, 60 Euros to Beldibi and Boğazkent, 75 Euros to Kızılağaç, 90 Euros to Kumluca, and 70 Euros to Side, Manavgat and Saklıkent (based on June 2015 figures).

Yes National, Europcar, Hertz, Budget, Avis, Filo, Aytucar, and Travelium are the companies that offer car rental services at Antalya Airport.

Bus – Minibus

The municipal bus 600A provides transportation from Antalya Havalimanı to the harbor. The municipal bus 600 departs every 30 minutes from Antalya Airport and arrives at Antalya Coach Station by passing through the city center.

Once you arrive at the coach station, you can also get on the buses or minibuses headed to Kemer, Kaş, Alanya, Kalkan, Kumluca, Demre, Gazipaşa, Side, Aspendos, and Manavgat.
